Essential Requirements for Pet Relocation to Singapore

• Microchip Identification: Your pet must have an ISO-compliant microchip implanted before receiving the rabies vaccination. Consult our pet shipping experts if your pet has a different microchip.
• Rabies Vaccination and Quarantine: A valid rabies vaccine is required at least four months prior to export, along with a FAVN serology test conducted at least one month before export. A booster rabies vaccine must be given after the serology sample is taken and at least one month before export. Quarantine options are 10 or 30 days, with the 10-day option preferred. Blood samples for the titer test must be taken more than 30 days after the first rabies vaccine and within six months of export. Only two U.S. labs are approved for reporting results:
• Kansas State University Rabies Laboratory
• DOD Veterinary Food Analysis and Diagnostic Laboratory
• Core Vaccinations
• Dogs: Vaccinated against Distemper, Hepatitis, and Parvoviral infection at least two weeks prior to export.
• Cats: Vaccinated against Cat Flu and Cat Enteritis at least two weeks prior to export.
• Import Permits: Import permits must be completed by an authorized agent in Singapore. The Pet Porters will manage this paperwork for you.
• Health Certificate: A health certificate signed by a USDA-accredited veterinarian and endorsed by the USDA is required within 10 days of departure. The Pet Porters will assist you in obtaining this essential documentation.
