Is Your Vet USDA-Accredited & Why It Matters

At The Pet Porters, we provide access to USDA-accredited veterinarians to ensure your pet meets all the health requirements for travel. A USDA-accredited veterinarian is a licensed professional who has completed formal training through the National Veterinary Accreditation Program (NVAP) and is accredited in their state(s) of practice. This accreditation is voluntary, and not all veterinarians hold this credential.

For international pet travel, a USDA-accredited vet must examine your pet and complete the necessary health certificate. If you're located in the Dallas-Fort Worth area, The Pet Porters can connect you with local USDA-accredited veterinarians and assist with managing your pet's health certificate and related travel documents.
